Is There a Good Time to Sell Rolexes?

If you want to sell a Rolex, then you need to understand that it has a lot to do with the time you sell it out. Timing is everything in life, so if you don’t sell at the right time, you’re not going to make the money that you want. Luckily, we know a thing or two about timing, so we’ve got a few tips and tricks for you.

Let’s check out a few strategies for selling your Rolex at the right time. Hopefully, by giving you this advice, you’ll be able to sell promptly, punctually, and without any hassle.

Avoid Late Christmas and January

Unless you’re selling to a big company, Christmas and January are both times to avoid when selling anything. It’s very simple reasoning.

You see, everybody has gotten themselves into Christmas debt. Most people spend too much money over Christmas, and they borrow from credit card providers or loan companies to try and buy that present for the kids or to take the family out for a Christmas meal. As a result, most people are going to be keeping an exceptionally tight grip on their finances and won’t be interested in spending money on a watch.

Sell at the Start of the Month

If you’re selling, then the best thing you can do is wait until the beginning of each month to list your item. The reason for this is that everybody has just gotten paid, and those people who are hobbyist collectors will have some disposable income to go looking on the websites for new watches that have been listed.

If you’re selling to a private company, it doesn’t particularly matter because we have the money at any point during the year, but the mistake that a lot of people make is they list an item in the middle of the month or towards the end of it, which is the wrong time to attract people.

Early December is King

If you want to sell a Rolex, the best time to do it is arguably the early part of December. As people get closer to Christmas, everybody starts spending more money. They might justify buying a Christmas gift for someone or even treating themselves, but people are more willing to purchase expensive items at this point in the year.

Again, this has absolutely no bearing on us because we operate throughout the year, so it’s largely up to you when you choose to make a sale.

Timing Matters

Unfortunately, timing is a big part of the art of the sale. The best thing that you can do is make sure that you sell at the right time, but the smart money is always on selling to a professional company anyway. We can purchase your item at any point, so you will be far more likely to make the amount of money that you want at a time that works for you because we just purchase things.
